In their beginnings in 2007, the Death Feast Open Air was attended by mere 1000 enthusiasts, who probably never expected that the festival would survive another year. But it did, and it continued year after year to surprise us with excellent band choices and organization, which earned them the reputation of one of the most aspiring festivals of extreme Brutal and Death Metal genre. The year 2010 marks the 4^th festival cycle and brings us around 36 bands from places as diverse as U.S.A., Scandinavia, Spain, Germany, UK, Colombia, Malta and Turkey, which will turn the festival site into a steaming melting pot of Death Metal.

To give you a hint we will name just a few: Dying Fetus (USA), Grave (SWE), Haemophagia (ESP), Hail of Bullets (NLD), Illdisposed (DNK), Milking the Goatmachine (GER) Necrophagist (GER), Suffocation (USA), Lock Up (UK/SWE), Waco Jesus (USA). Another excellent surprise for the visitors of the festival is a double performance of Dying Fetus, who are going to play a spectacular set exclusively on DFOA, on Sunday, 12 June. Gallagher & co. will perform only the songs from the “Purification Through Violence” and “Killing on Adrenaline” albums – an absolute must for every Brutalhead!
